Well Being Finale

LIFE GETS SIMPLE

If you have made it to the last part of Well Being then thank you for your patience. I write this blog in my spare time and as I have a busy active life I don’t always have long periods to spend writing. So lets get on I left you with the thought of does being worried or anxious about any situation actually change that situation.

NO IT DOESN’T

I am not saying that you should jump for joy at the fact that you have lost your job, but if you go into a depressive mood about it then you are not concentrating on the task in hand like getting a new job. Instead accept that you don’t have a job anymore, don’t stress be productive. Think of your well being This is what I would think and say to myself…

OK I have lost my job, I know I am going to get another one and it will be better than my last one, in fact I have wanted to change my job for a long time now but never got around to it. Today I will look at all my finances and decide the priority payments and see how long I have before my mortgage is due and my regular bills are due. I will talk to my family and explain that things will be tight for a while so no luxuries for a while. I will ring my mortgage company and tell them the situation and ask for some advice, the same for my utilities. Tomorrow I will start a positive campaign to get a better job. This is a blessing in disguise as I will find a far better job.

So how has this changed my situation ? I still lost my job and I still have a mortgage and bills to pay and children to feed. So negative or positive the situation is still exactly the same.

What is different is that my health will not suffer so much as I am protecting my well being by staying calm and positive and not sending my blood pressure rocketing through stress and anxiety. I will be better equipped to get a new job in the shortest time because I have an action plan through my positive mind set and I will probably have more breathing space with my mortgage company because of the action I took immediately notifying them of my current situation and then acting on their advice.

Life is as simple as you make it. You can protect your well being by keeping a positive outlook or you can worry and stress about everything that goes wrong in your life and put your health at risk with rising blood pressure and any number of other health problems.

Next time you are worrying or stressing over a situation in your life stop and think about how you can change that situation with your positive thoughts and then put a plan of action in place to relieve that situation and at the same time being kind to your well being. It is easier to deal with things when you are positve than it is when you are stressed and negative, the same as it takes less effort and muscles to smile than it does to frown.

Smile and be positive, you and those around you will benefit and then life gets simple.
