Pressure
DON’T STRESS OUT
If you have just had your blood pressure checked and your results were higher than normal, try not to stress out and don’t let the pressure get to you.
Getting told by the Doctor or nurse that your blood pressure is higher than it should be and that you have hypertension can be a huge worry. The simple words of the Doctor can send your blood pressure up even further and that is the last thing you need.
When I first found out my blood pressure was high the words of the nurse was ” Your blood pressure is very high and you are in a high risk bracket, for a stroke or heart attack”. I think just that one sentence that she spoke to me put me in an even higher bracket, it was like I could suddenly feel my pulse racing and my heart was pumping so hard it felt like you could see it through my clothes.
I could count on one hand the amount of times that I had been to the Doctors office since I was a teenager and I am now 44. I never get sick apart form the odd small cold, I went to see my Doctor because my coccyx ( I hope I spelt that right ) was giving me pain and the Doctor decided that he would get the nurse to do all the routine tests and blood pressure was one of them.
So I was devastated when my blood pressure was so high, the options I had according to the nurse was that I can change my lifestyle and bring my blood pressure down naturally or go on medication. I hate medication, I won’t even take a headache tablet. So I had to do it naturally and thankfully I have managed to do just that.
But what I wanted to say or why I wrote this post was to try and reassure any one that has just been told they have hypertension. Please try not to get worked up about it, I know that is hard to do but it ain’t going to help your blood pressure. Instead try and keep calm and think about how you can change you lifestyle for the good of your health. Then take action on the changes you have come up with, the only way to change anything is through action.
So I guess what I am trying to say is don’t despair, keep calm and know that you can lower your blood pressure yourself without medication. I will be sharing with you right here on this site the things that helped me lower my blood pressure and I constantly research ways that naturally lower blood pressure so as I discover so will you.
Remember Stay calm and know that you can reverse hypertension, I’m with you all the way.
