BEING HEALTHY

We know that by making some changes in our lifestyle we can make a difference to our blood pressure. So we have to look at our health in general. What things do we do in our lives to contribute to us being healthy.

The other side of the coin is what do we do in our lives to contribute to us being unhealthy. Somewhere in between these two opposites is to find a balance that we can maintain on a daily basis.

A few things that can contribute to us being more healthy is regular exercise, a healthy diet involving fresh fruit and vegetables and keeping a calm outlook by using breathing and meditation techniques. These things really do work and are easy to fit into our daily lives.

A few things that can contribute to us being unhealthy are to much processed and fatty foods, also eating to much and becoming overweight, to much alcohol and smoking and getting stressed and angry. The last one can affect many of us in this fast pace day and age with our jobs being to stressful to cope with making us anxious and in the worst cases over time giving us high blood pressure.

So the way we feel and the way we deal with stressful situations in our lives can have an affect on our health over time which in my mind puts this point as a very important one. I have already said that breathing and meditation techniques can help us with this and they are very effective if practised. So use them they are easy once you get the hang of them. But what about us as individuals and how we think about life.

I want to try and look at our self and by that I mean you have got to look at yourself, I don’t want to get all deep here but I believe that we can change ourselves by how we think, so I will see you in the next post and try and simplify life.
