Green Tea

We have all heard that Tea has health benefits, it contains anti-oxidents and is generally a healthy drink. It is a drink that has been consumed for thousands of years and is still a highly consumed drink today. Green Tea is regarded as being the healthiest tea to drink and is something that I consume everyday.

I am not saying that it has a direct affect on lowering blood pressure and it is not something that I started to drink to help lower my blood pressure. I changed from normal tea to green tea for more of a general health reason. I first started to drink normal tea without milk and any sugar, which took a bit of getting used to, I then progressed to green tea and again it was a bit strange at first, but I soon got used to it. In fact if I try a normal white tea now it tastes awful.

It is just a matter of letting your taste buds get use to it, but once you have you probably won’t go back to normal tea, especially with milk and sugar.

Now there have been all sorts of claims about green tea, it has been used in china for thousands of years as a medicine to cure all sorts of ailments. There is research and claims that it can reduce the chance of certain cancers or that it can lower cholesterol, it is said to help things like Arthritis and the latest research says that it is an aid in losing weight. I don’t know how true any of this is, all I know is I drink it and I enjoy it.

Now I have lost weight over the past several months, not by trying to and I don’t think it is solely down to drinking green tea. It is probably down to the combination of regular Exercise and a Healthy Diet (including green tea) that is the reason why I have lost some weight as well as bringing by blood pressure down to a normal level.

Now if you want to try green tea then I suggest you buy it from the place where you get the rest of your weekly shop or you can buy the one that is making a bit of a splash in the headlines, mainly for the wrong reasons in my opinion. ChoYung Tea is a green tea, so it is going to be good for your general health, if you want to try it, but do it for your health generally and not for the slimming reasons. If you lose a bit of weight through drinking it then that may be a bonus to you, but think about its health benefits rather than its weight loss qualities.
