ON YOUR BIKE

That’s right it’s time to get on your bike and get your heart fit. To cycle is to give your cardiovascular system a good workout.

The cycle or bicycle has been around for many years and there are now many different designs. Most people either have a bike or have had one at some point in their lives. So if you have a cycle in your garage that has been collecting dust for a long time, then now is the time to dust it off and get on it. If you don’t have a bike then may be it is time to think about getting one. The cycle needn’t be expensive and once you have one as long as you maintain it and look after it will give you many years of service without costing you a fortune.

Cycling is a great form of aerobic exercise that is not only fun but is also not to high impact and almost anyone can do it. It can be enjoyed with the whole family and if done regular is a known beneficial exercise to lower blood pressure and heart disease whilst also combating weight problems. Cycling can be such good fun that you don’t even realise that you are exercising and giving your body a great workout that benefits your health.

To cycle on a regular basis is to be fit and healthy and at the same time your legs will get stronger and what can be a better exercise than one that makes our legs stronger, after all they are what hold us up and keep us mobile, our legs do so much for us every day that we don’t even think about, like getting up from a chair or squatting down to pick something up. These are things we just do with out thinking and it is our legs that do most of the work.

Don’t do any more thinking about cycling  just get on and do it as often as you like and enjoy yourself to fitness.
