Blood Pressure Help

Anyone that has been told they have high blood pressure and could be facing a life time of medication and all the possible side effects that caome along with that, will probably on the look out for an alternative.

Now here on MonitorBloodPressure.Net I try to constantly search for things that can help in lowering blood pressure naturally, who amongst us wouldn’t want to avoid the dreaded mecication. Being someone who had high blood pressure I know how worrying it can be when you know the facts about the danger to your health if your BP remains high over a period of time.

So after writing my last Post, which was all about Accupressure I thought I would look a little deeper into it, to find out if there was some material available that would help to explain more than my brief explanation of this great chinese treatment.

Our bodies contain many Accupoints and Accupressure is when pressure is applied to these points with our fingers and lightly massaged that they help to relief symptoms of different kinds and High Blood Pressure is one of them, each accupoint can treat a different part of the body or ailment.

Since I wrote my last post I remembered that I was given a couple of wrist bands years ago by a friend who suffered from travel sickness. I used them for a hangover, they were called seabands as they were designed for sea sickness. Basically they are a material wrist band with like a button on the inside. You put them on your wrist about two finger widths from the hand with the button located on the underside of your wrist.

They do work as well, they stopped me feeling sick with my hangover, now I might be wrong here but I am pretty sure that they work on the same principle as Accupressure, they are performing Accupressure through the button gently applying pressure to the accupoint on the underside of the wrist.

Anyway here are a couple of things that may help you find out more about Accupressure, including the wrist bands that I have just mentioned.
