A lifestyle without activity can be a danger to your health. If you don’t exercise or have some form of regular activity in your life then you can be at risk from cardiovascular problems in fact having a inactive lifestyle is one of the causes of heart attacks in this world today. So what you gonna do ? Get active !

What can we do to get active and incorperate it as part of our lifestyle and therefore lead to a healthy person. Well there are plenty of types of exercises that can give us a good cardio workout and most of them would come under the heading of Aerobics.

What is aerobic ? Aerobic is an enhancement in the efficiency of our respiratory and circulatory system. Aerobic can be described as an exercise that improves our cardiovascular system. A cardiovascular system to put it simply is our heart and blood and the circulation of  it around our bodies. So if we do some kind of aerobic exercise then we are improving the fitness of our heart and blood system which without we would not be alive.

If your heart and blood as a system are not very fit then it stands to reason that you could suffer from problems in your health related to these like stroke or heart attack or high blood pressure. So we can see that to give our cardio system a good workout on a regular basis is going to benefit our health. If you get your cardio system fit and strong then you are at less of a risk from high blood pressure ,stroke and heart attack.

What exercises do we do to be classed as doing aerobics ? walking, running, cycling, swimming, skipping and dancing are probably  the most well known and I will be taking a look at these  in turn. There are many different types of aerobic classes with many different types of routines. But even an activity like washing a car could be classed as aerobic and also housework. Any activity that involves a wide range of repetitive movements that affect all the muscle groups.

So there is no excuse to not being aerobic, and to be aerobic regularly will get your cardio system fit and healthy.
