Acupressure And Blood Pressure
To start with you may be wondering what Acupressure actually is, I will explain in this post. It is used for the treatment of many things from anxiety to disease and can help with high blood pressure. As we are looking for ways to lower high blood pressure and avoid medication then this has got to be worth a look.
Acupressure is applying pressure with the fingers to certain acupoints on the body and has been used throughout china for thousands of years for relaxation and the promotion of well being. It is also used for the natural treatment of health issues and disease. Acupressure can help fight illness and restore harmony and balance in our bodies.
It can help with things such as muscle pain, anxiety, depression and of course high blood pressure. I do not pretend to know a lot about this natural treatment but I have always believed in our bodies have an energy flow and how important it is to keep that flowing and balanced.
Acupressure helps the bodies balance, it is said that if our bodies are out of balance or we have blockages in our flow of energy then we can suffer from a headache or develop something more seriously.
I am going to be looking into Acupressure in a more detailed way for myself, not as something that I will feature here, having said that if I discover anything that is relevant to this site concerning Acupressure further than what this post provides then I will certainly write about it.
I would certainly recommend that anyone take a more detailed look at Acupressure not just as an aid to lower blood pressure, but as a general promotion of well being. To get you started in your research, I have included a video I found of Acupressure in progress which will hopefully explain it a little more and help anyone understand how it is applied.
I would not recommend that anyone that has any kind of health issue to just start applying pressure themselves to any of the acupoints on their bodies without finding out in more detail how this natural treatment works. It would be far better to find a reputable Acupressure practitioner in your local area and let them explain how it works and how it will benefit.
